Roy Gould, 86, of Foyer St-Thomas, St-Joseph (formerly of Memramcook Est) passed away at his residence on Saturday, May 5, 2001, after a brief illness.

Roy Gould Born in Memramcook Est, he was the son of the late Willie Gould and Lucie Dupuis. He was a farmer.

He is survived by two daughters, Laurina (Gérard) Léger of Dieppe, Lucie (Raymond) Bourgeois of Memramcook Est; five sons, Edouard (Jane) Gould, Olivier (Irène) Gould, Clarence (Simonne) Gould, Freddy (Bernice) Gould and Jude Gould, all of Memramcook Est; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Joseline (LeBlanc) Gould (1988); brothers, Emile, Ephrem, and Robert.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home on Monday, May 7 from 2 to 4, 7 to 9 pm, Tuesday, May 8, 2 to 6:30 pm. Funeral services to be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook Est on Tuesday, May 8, at 7:00 p.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
